VISION

What it is

A complete benchtop workflow for single-cell RNA library prep on long-read sequencers. Cells are partitioned in a disposable microwell chip — loaded with a P200 pipette, no capital equipment — then barcoded with magnetic beads carrying ArgenTag's mathematically designed barcodes. Sample to cDNA in five hours, under one hour hands-on. Up to 20,000 cells per experiment. Compatible with PacBio Kinnex and ONT LSK 114.

Step 1: Load
the chip

Pipette your cell suspension onto the ArgenTag microwell chip. Cells will settle into individual microwells by gravity.

Step 2: Capture
and barcode

Add the barcoded magnetic beads to pair with the cells in microwells. Lyse the cells in place, and recover the beads with the poly-A mRNA.

Step 3: Reverse transcribe and amplify

Perform the reverse transcription with the magnetic beads, and amplify to generate full-length, barcoded cDNA.

Step 4: Prepare your cDNA and sequence

Integrate the cDNA into your preferred long-read workflow using PacBio Kinnex or Oxford Nanopore LSK114, and proceed with sequencing.

Step 5: Demultiplex
and analyze

Process the raw sequencing data without barcode whitelist: run ArgenTag's pipeline on your servers or upload your data and receive a report.
