Last month, ArgenTag announced the winners of the Single-Cell Long-Read Grant during the Single-Cell Long-Read RNA Sequencing in Practice live webinar, part of a series of events celebrating ArgenTag joining the PacBio Compatible Partner Program.

This grant provided not only access to the ArgenTag Single-Cell kit to support novel long-read single-cell projects, but also complimentary PacBio Kinnex kits to complete the sequencing workflows.

Our selection committee reviewed the +50 applications with meticulous detail, facing the difficult task of choosing from an exceptionally strong pool of innovative proposals. Given the scientific quality of the submissions, we are thrilled to announce two winners whose projects demonstrated exceptional merit, feasibility, and potential impact for long-read sequencing. Meet our winners:

  • Dr. Michael Flower – Senior Clinical Research Fellow, University College LondonProject: “Single-cell long-read profiling of HD neurons: linking HTT isoforms and CAG repeat length to cell identity”

  • Pablo Domizi, PhD – Senior Research Scientist, Stanford University

Project: “SCOPE: Single-Cell multi-Omic Profiling of antigen Escape relapse”

ArgenTag partnership with PacBio for single-cell long-read sequencing

We congratulate Michael and Pablo on their outstanding projects and look forward to supporting both teams as they continue exploring isoform diversity and novel splicing events in cancer and neurodegenerative disease research using ArgenTag technology.

Thank you to all applicants for their interest and for the exceptional scientific quality of the proposals submitted. While only two projects were selected, several additional projects that strongly align with ArgenTag technology were identified. We are excited to support these researchers through access to discounted ArgenTag packages and PacBio sequencing discounts to help advance their work.

Stay tuned to our channels for future opportunities and upcoming events.

Have questions or want to learn more about the technology? Let’s discuss how it could support your project.
