ArgenTag Single-Cell Long-Read Sequencing Grant 2026

Official Rules & Terms and Conditions

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO APPLY OR BE SELECTED.

 

1. Eligibility

Participation in the ArgenTag Single-Cell Long-Read Sequencing Grant Program (the “Grant Program”) is open to individual applicants who:

- Are professionally engaged in laboratory-based scientific research

- Are at least 18 years of age and have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence

Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and independent contractors of ArgenTag, its affiliates, or subsidiaries, as well as members of their immediate families or households (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate.

The following individuals and entities are also ineligible:

1. Residents of any country or territory subject to U.S. embargoes or trade restrictions, or where participation would be prohibited by applicable law

2. Any individuals or entities listed on U.S. government restricted or denied-party lists (including, but not limited to, the Denied Persons List, Specially Designated Nationals List, Entity List, or Unverified List)

3. Any persons or entities for whom participation would be illegal, or with whom ArgenTag is prohibited from conducting business

The Grant Program is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

2. How to Apply

The Grant Program opens on February 17 and closes on March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Applications submitted outside this period will not be considered.

To apply, applicants must submit the required information via the designated online application form provided by ArgenTag. Applications must include:

- Applicant’s full name and email address

- Institutional affiliation

- City and country

- Research area selection

- A written project abstract (maximum 500 words)

By submitting an application, the applicant acknowledges that all submitted materials become the property of ArgenTag and will not be returned. ArgenTag makes no guarantee regarding the confidentiality or security of submitted materials.

Submission of an application grants ArgenTag permission to contact the applicant regarding this Grant Program and related ArgenTag products or services, whether or not the applicant is selected.

3. Selection Process and Notification

Grant recipients will be selected by a review panel composed of ArgenTag scientific staff and advisors based on the criteria outlined in the Grant Program description, including scientific merit, fit to the technology, feasibility, and willingness to publicly present results.

ArgenTag may request additional information or interviews from finalists prior to final selection.

Selection decisions are final and binding. Selected applicants will be notified via email within approximately five (5) business days of selection. Failure to respond within the specified time may result in forfeiture of the award and selection of an alternate recipient.

The number of awards granted and the likelihood of selection depend on the number and quality of eligible applications received.

4. Award Description

The Grant Program award may include:

- Recommendations for sequencing partners, if needed

- Up to four reactions (40,000 cells) of the ArgenTag single-cell long-read kit
- Project planning support and a one-hour debrief with our scientific board
- Sequencing of submitted samples on a long-read platform
- Basic bioinformatics analysis covering demultiplexing, barcode/UMI processing, cell calling, quality metrics, and standard visualizations (UMAP)

No cash equivalent, substitution, transfer, or assignment of the award is permitted.

5. Recipient Obligations and Restrictions

Recipients must:

- Provide samples and perform experiments in accordance with ArgenTag’s technical guidance
- Obtain all necessary institutional approvals and authorizations
- Run the ArgenTag kit portion of the assay within 60 days of receiving the reagents

 

Recipients agree to acknowledge ArgenTag’s contribution in any public presentations, publications, or communications related to the awarded project, subject to reasonable review and approval by ArgenTag.

Recipients may be required to execute an eligibility affidavit, liability release, and publicity release (where permitted by law). Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the award.

All taxes, fees, and costs associated with use of the award are the sole responsibility of the recipient and/or their institution.

6. Use of Name and Publicity

By accepting the award, recipients grant ArgenTag the right to use their name, title, institutional affiliation, project title, and general project description for promotional and informational purposes, including on ArgenTag websites, marketing materials, and social media, without additional compensation.

7. Data, Confidentiality, and Intellectual Property

Applicants represent and warrant that submitted materials do not infringe on third-party rights and that they have the authority to disclose the information provided.

ArgenTag makes no guarantees regarding confidentiality of submissions. Intellectual property arising from the awarded research remains with the recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

By participating in the Grant Program, applicants agree to release and hold harmless ArgenTag and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the Grant Program or use of the award.

The Grant Program and award are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

ArgenTag’s total liability arising from the Grant Program shall not exceed the approximate value of the awarded materials.


 

9. Modification, Suspension, and Termination

ArgenTag reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Grant Program at any time if circumstances arise that compromise the integrity, legality, or administration of the program.

10. Governing Law

These Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Delaware.
